Bikes: Day 6 Dream 21

you say no one would buy that large and yet you have ZERO data available. NO ONE MAKES anything that large so you can NOT decree that no one would BUY something that large.

I would bet a month wages if you took an average joe not riding a $1000 bike and showed them a $40 setup that had wires and was the size of a deck of playing cards and said this will give you EVERYTHING that $500 garmin system does using your android smartphone your holding in your hands but will only cost you $40 and will run for an entire season before needing to be recharged (once a year) (HRM extra I don't need to design for them since there are plenty of BT3 and BT4 HRM's on the market cheap)

how much you willing to bet they would take the garmin?

What I am describing would have (to do what garmin does) ONE wire. this wire would goto the crank sensor and then ONE wire out of the crank sensor to the Speed sensor (just like your current sensors do it)

so WHAT mess exactly do you see? this wire would not even need to run to the handlebars. remember its bluetooth. put the box at the bottom of the seat post tube and the wire would only be a couple inches long.

what MESS are you imagining in your crazy imagination exactly?

where is the COMPLICATED part.

you attached the brain to your seat post tube. in run the less than 8 inches of wire (if that much) and attach the sensors. insert the battery and your DONE.

on your phone you "pair" to the brain box and stick the phone in your handle bar mount or in your pocket if you don't need to see it.

done.

where is this complicated mess your fabricating? enlighten me.
