In Florida, in my area, I am viewed as a ****head. I'm in my early 20's and have high drive and ambition, but am extremely respectful and don't sprint or ask for sprints etc unless someone else does in group rides. Its just 19 out of 20 riders are older than 35 in my area and I feel I am viewed as just another ****head kid.

Thus, I don't like group rides. Just generally unfriendly towards me and the people I come with. I go up to people but they kinda walk away. I shower AND use deodorant!

I usually wind up flying solo, but would like a FRIENDLY group of people to ride with.
Fortunatley there are a ton of cyclists in FL and even when riding my own route on the road I usually wind up on someone's wheel and we swap turns for a few miles before I thank them and pedal off.
