Being Canadian it's a non issue.
For younger Canadians the Imperial system is often foreign... I was in middle school when metric was adopted so some of my world still gets perceived and worked out in Imperial while other aspects are metric.
I can use both and Canada uses a dual system of measure in the every day world... metric was not universally adopted here.
If you drive on the highway the speed limit is posted in kmh and not mph and fuel is sold in litres but you might buy goods at the market and be offered a per pound measure and a metric measure.
