IMO, they look decent on thick tubed aluminum bikes. I saw a pic somewhere of a Raleigh Macaframa with a Chub that looked great. The dude I built up that wheel for put it on a Mash, which also looked pretty cool.

It's one of those things where the first time you see it, your like "Holy ****, that thing is hideous!" but the more you look it, the more acceptable it becomes. Kinda like Angie's reaction when she first met me.
