Do you, or do you know anyone, who has built up a wheel with a BMX cassette style hub? The gearing options of a 9t are fascinating. I know the spacing is 110mm and I know you'd have to grind out the dropouts, but nothing seems all that prohibitive. Especially if someone out there is making a flipflop with a bmx 9t cassette and a regulation track cog. though, that's a lot of chain to take up, even with a 13t cog.
