Right about now is when someone posts a link to this: http://www.ctc.org.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID=3946 which is a great start if you haven't seen it. I assume the OP has an indexed 9-speed Chorus campy Ergo setup that is indexing ok with a 9-speed Shimano cassette, though it's not clear with what RD.
