I absolutely agree with you on SUVs.

My idea, however, in this respect is the freedom of choice. If people like SUVs, let them drive them, enjoy them.

But what I would suggest is to stop subsidize the motor-oil industry with the tax money.

Let the fuel cost what it costs. If the price of gas is about 10 bucks per gallon, many consumers will favour the lighter cars, which consume less fuel.

The owners of the SUVs will have they cars, but will have to plan they day better to drive less, in order to save fuel cost.

The same about oversized houses. Enjoy it, but pay the real price for the energy, which goes to heating and air conditioning. Or make more responsible choice, while selecting.

Why is this stereotype that the cost of fuel should subsidized by the state? Such a socialism brings only problems. Let the freedom and free enterprise rule.
