Read up the Miami Jim thread on packing a frameset. I am still learning, I can get a 60cm or smaller frameset in a 108 box, which will ship coast to coast for less than $25.

+1 Do not go a full 108, as you could get arguments at the counter. Instead, give yourself a margin for error, 106 is pretty safe. Your measurements are 98 inches, if I am adding it up right.

I took Jim's tip, and run the DT parallel to the bottom of the box. It is amazing how the orientation of the frame can change box size.

I use Ebay shipping calculator for everything EXCEPT bikes. Instead, just use a flat rate. I end up using about $10 worth of packing materials.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
