isn't green peace the same group that spiked trees in the northwest so that lumberjacks would be killed or seriously injured when their chain saws struck the metal embedded in the tree? the same group that planted a bomb on an ocean vessel in a european port? the same group that would close all public land to mountain bikers?

these are not the actions of any group that i can get behind. sorry.

and by the way ... my views are not liberal and they are not conservative, they are independent of any party affiliation. i chaffe when people try to categorize me that way. i take it one issue at a time and support political figures who lobby for things that are important to ME (not any political party). that includes gun control (support), a woman's right to choose (support), and affirmative action (oppose). as you can see, the ruminations of green peace don't make my top three list. but that's just me.
