Sorry, but this is a myth. It doesn't remove the rust. It just deposits the aluminum foil over the rust, making it look like it's been removed. The rust is till there, under the aluminum foil, propogating. Aliuminum foil is nothing but a minimum effort cover-up, favoured by bicycle flippers.
