Reason is it is so tall that you have to remember the roofs on garages and houses sticking out where nothing is sticking out closer to the ground where I normally mowe around. I arrived around midnight after driving for 5 hrs, parked the truck and did the reversing the next day when my brain had rested. Have your family help you remember the stuff that is unusual and you`ll be fine.
I did the whole trip without having to use Reverse even once. But a few years ago, a friend driving a bigger Uhaul truck for me backed into an overhanging tree branch. this left a small scratch way up at the top of the truck, for whicn Uhaul charged me $50.
I am not looking forward to filling the tank before we return the truck. We used about 3/4 of a tank. I don't know how much that is. But they said there's a $0 fee if the tank isn't full--plus $6 for every gallon they have to put in!
