I bought/built up two steel bikes.

Net is N'=N+1, where N'=5. Three steel road bikes, one carbon road bike, one dual suspension MTB. I ride them all as conditions warrant.

My wife and daughters have 5 more between them. Those and about 3 project bikes waiting for work, and one repair/restoration for friends at any time, and there seem to be a lot of bikes around...
