Agreed. I even put them on the bike that doesn't have the clickstand. Really, for general riding, being able to lock the brakes turns out to be more helpful than the actual Clickstand. Not that I don't like the Clickstand, but it seems to get a lot less use than those elastic bands.

Also, I haven't had the bands long enough to know, and I did have one separate (not break, but the plastic doohicky that holds the ends together came open), but the cloth-elastic material seems like it's more durable and weather-friendly than your average rubber band which gets dry and brittle before too long and snaps. Don't know what these Bongoties are made of, but they look much more like a rubber band, and I'd be concerned about their longevity.

But I do agree that being able to lock your brakes turns out to be very useful, however you do it.
