Yea, the weather thing does suck out here. I only remember once there was mud and it was more like a puddle. I know there was a race in Thousand Oaks 2 years ago that was legit. Otherwise you are stuck with Storm the Beach and that ain't no kind of fun. Like the picnic table aspect though. We goof off on rides and will ride off road. A couple of weeks ago we rode to the Hollywood sign and rode the dirt trails back to Mt Hollywood. 120 PSI on loose dirt is interesting.
