Wow, an erotica bike. I was going to suggest a Fiamme red label set of rims as they seem to crop-up occasionally. But, seeing it is an iconic bike I would suggest replacing the rim with another Weinmann A129 Concave no matter how long it takes. I'd just use another wheel in the mean time.

It would be interesting to really examine the old rim to determine just what is actually wrong with it. Perhaps the join has separated and may be beyond repair. Perhaps it is saveable though.
