Looks great as a commuter bike so long as you're not the competitive type (wanting to go as fast as possible) like a few of us regular commuters
Don't forget to allow some budget for lights. Check to see how easy it is to get the chainguard on and off as you will be doing it regularly for cleaning of the drivetrain. Also, check that the wheels are easily removed for puncture repairs, which unfortunately you will also be doing regularly, just part of the commuting deal.
How far/long is your commute? you may find that the big cushy seat is OK for short periods but because your sit bones sink into the paddint there's pressure on the soft tissue 'down there'

and it will then get painfull. If that happens then you will need to look at replacing the seat with a better designed one. Do a search on these forums and you'll find all the specific info you need, if not just ask.
