You can route the front deralleur cable under the bottom bracket. Use a piece of cable housing from the downtube stop long enough to go under the BB and come up behind the seat tube between the chainstays. Works well and you can use a frt derailleur without a stop.
No problems running a cable to the rear derailleur.
+1. There are also other FDs with built in stops. I just built up a Bottechia Pro with a Suntour (BL?). All aluminum, with a built-in stop. I'm building it with Suntour barcons and had an appropriate Suntour downtube stop in the stash....
