Beautiful redo Finch! For being 28 I absolutely love old steel, nothing quite like riding it. I grew up on my dad's Collegiate and an old Coast-to-Coast "Clean Machine" bike that I wish I could find.

I am planning on taking my mom's old Schwinn Collegiate and redoing it for my wife this winter, since I started riding she is very interested in riding next year when our little guy is about 1 and we have a trailer for him to ride in. I still wish my dad kept his, they were a green matching pair, but it seems his was either stolen, sold, or junked. But I completely understand the nostalgia feeling you have for your bike.
