This is pure speculation on my part, but wouldn't a mid-90s bike have a seatpost collar instead of a built-in bolt?

Looks nice, but like the other posters, I wouldn't pay much more than the current asking price. I managed to get a slightly older 105 equipped bike (with a nice steel frame) for $80. It was in probably equivalent shape except the wheels and tyres. Maybe I was just lucky though.
