I like that solution as well. Pretty clean. The whole premise of this type of BB and inserting an alloy sleeve into BB30 is both approachs creates a connection of both sides...unlike BB30 where the bearings are independent and only held in place by press, crank preload or loctite.
Yes it is easy and tight.. The only small downside is that you need a ft-lbs torgue wrench to install it, but the LBS took care of that for me..
