Question for those of you that have used Crank Brothers Pedals:

I currently have/use a set of eggbeater pedals I got for free - threw them on the bike just to feel the difference between those and the shimano pedals that came with my bike. I like the eggbeaters, but kind of liked the "platform" feel of the shimanos.

So, is that the deal with Candy vs Eggbeaters - just to have that platform?

One thing I've noticed between Shimano and Eggbeaters is that the Shimano pedals were easier to clip into, but harder to clip out (could have been an adjustment issue w/ my cleats). I currently struggle to quickly clip in to my eggbeaters, although I imagine I will get better with more practice - do the candys improve clipping in at all? I'm not running out the door to purchase a set, but curious...
