Ain't it the truth! Without even trying (I was not overweight to begin with), I lost 12 pounds over the last 18 months after taking up cycling. I am now within four pounds of what I weighed in high school! The only downside is that I had to buy all new pants and belts because the old ones didn't fit anymore.
