I think it was so tight going in that some kind of liquid would also help on the way out if the 609 dries up or is somehow lacking it might be good insurance to have another point in which to "break the seal" although the 609 its very slippery stuff, (and tastes awful, btw. ) For a press I used a huge bolt with large nuts to compress springs on auto suspensions. worked pretty well but the a proper headset tool would be easier to use.


Got the bike 99% built up. The crank looks great! Will test ride and let you all know.
