Bikes: 48 Automoto, 49 Stallard, 50 Rotrax, 62 Jack Taylor, 67 Atala, 68 Lejeune, 72-74-75 Motobecanes, 73 RIH, 71 Zieleman, 74 Raleigh, 78 Windsor, 83 Messina (Villata), 84 Brazzo (Losa), 85 Davidson, 90 Diamondback, 92 Kestrel

I was going to stop at 10 but I seem to have passed that, so I have been forced to revise the number upward a bit. They are all riders/keepers. 3 are “modern” with freehubs and indexed shifting, so they really shouldn’t count. The Fisher and Trek are the daily utilitarian beaters:

1989 Fisher Advance
1992 Trek 520
1995 Kestrel 200SCi

I have 7 racers and sport tourers from the mid-60’s to mid-80’s. This has been my favourite category. The first 4 are finished and the last 3 are projects:
1967 Atala Record
1969 Lejeune racer (unknown model)
1975 Motobecane Grand Jubile
1984 Davidson Discovery
1971 Zieleman Type Special
1972 Motobecane Le Champion
1978 Carabela Super Carrera

I have recently gotten out of my normal comfort zone and started getting into older bikes. These are still in the frame-only stage, and will probably require a good deal more time, effort, and money to complete.
1948 Stallard Malvern
1950’s Automoto

They’re all nice, high-quality bikes, but I couldn’t say which is the best. The Stallard and Automoto are probably somewhat rare, but I don’t think any is particularly valuable.
