Also while on Sky Group ride last week at the end of a 30 miler we were coming on to a canal towpath and it was busy with people.

The rider ahead got too close to a pedestrian and had to swerve to avoid her but in doing so made me swerve and I hit him side on and went flying off onto a tarmac surface while hearing pedestrian shout "You should have gone slower!"

There was me sitting on the floor with the whole ride looking on while I got over the shock and convinced the ride leaders I didnt need an escort home bless them.

Hands were stinging and elbows and knees were sore but I did get up and finish the ride which still had some fun trails
