You failed to give specifics about your rear wheel. Need to tell us the tire width, not just that it is 700c, also the brand, pressure rating, etc. Also a wider and stronger rim would help, so specifically what rim and how many spokes was the new wheel you got made with.

I just had a wheel professionally built and the spoke tension is even and very high. Also using a wide, strong rim. And a big high pressure tire. Even though I run over a lot of gravel, I expect it to last a long time.

Also, If you get a new bike get an extra, heavy duty rear wheel made for it by a professional to have around before you even need it,
