I want pictures of the portage where the road is gone!

The last 5 miles of so of the 39 have been closed for decades and last time I went through which was a couple of decades ago there were some sections where the route was a goat trail and what had been the safety rail was hanging like a suspension bridge.

I would not want to try walking that section, let alone carrying my bike wearing racing style clipless.
