Bikes: 2012 Marin Larkspur CS Series.

One of the main reasons I do it this way is that I don’t like seeing my heart rate creep up over the 165 mark and if maintain a constant pedaling rate my heart rate increases and there is more fatigue in my legs.

Maybe I am not using gears correctly?

Maybe this is just part of being out of shape and I must lower my overall speed?

Maybe I should invest in something to measure my cadence?
