Oh yeah. Nasty as hell. I have been on organized rides recently where you are supposed to remove your gloves before taking snacks. On one of those rides last year I watched a guy walk up the food table, grab some potatoes with a gloved hand, pop them in his mouth, lick his fingers and then grab some more. Needless to say, I didn't take any more potatoes from that batch.
