It seems like this bike will not go away. Doing my daily check on Ebay for my favorite bikes, low and behold here is a brand new, never been built, my size 78/79 Raleigh Competition GS frame!

Bidding is up to around $202, 9 bids, and reserved not met. I just happened to be on my 78/79 Raleigh Competition GS for my commute this morning. I would love to have that frame, and either swap components, or have it built with the correct time period groupo, making me have two of them again. However, this looks like this bidding is going to go over the roof, plus there is the reserve..

This bike is 3rd in line behind the same year Professional and International. However, the latter two most of the time have big price tags. On the competition, you can sneak in a get a deal half of the time..
