So tonight I get a robocall from BGE telling me what to do to be ready for my power to go out. I guess that is what they did to beef up the grid.
One of my current DIY projects is installing a manual transfer switch that will allow me to power up the house with a generator. I better get that done before the storms hit. We lose power about once every two years or so.
