Can't I just calculate using my own HR, with the statistics of general populations.
I don't have the money to drop $500 for a powertap.
I suggest you just train by HR. Lots of us do. It's just about as good as power, if you do it correctly. You have to do a proper field test to figure out your LTHR. Get a book from the library and don't fret too much over watts.
Do it now and thank me later.
