Blacburn EXP is a very good rack with fully triangulated stays in all directions (unlike the Topeak Explorer). It is stiffer and lighter than any of the racks suggested as replacements.
The only feature it lacks is a rear lamp bracket.
All black racks look scruffy after a few months of regular use. If you want a rack that keeps its looks, you need an unpainted, plain metal
I wondered about this. No one else has mentioned this yet. Wondering if the epoxy paint mentioned above might overcome a black rack quickly becoming a scratched black rack?
