WhyFi, If it is a house you like, just do the transaction. It will be 4-6 weeks of your life, and then you never have to hear from her again. When we sold our house, the buyers were ridiculous. But we sucked it up and it was worth it. (not to our old neighbors. They will never forgive us for selling to them)
As a loan officer, I've seen some messy purchases... that said, we'll likely move forward. We like house itself (lots of options to alter/open the floorplan) but the location is the biggest plus - in addition to many walkable amenities (important to us, coming from nyc) it's also in the best school district in the Twin Cities.
