Hahahaha! I disagree with everybody except maybe Myosmith - At 225 pounds I don't think a custom built or hand built wheel is necessary, perhaps
tntarthur you just have a bad experience with a poorly built wheel. I weigh more than you and ride my city bike like a crazy person (700 by 32) with no problems. Visit a respectable LBS and have a talk with them about which bikes are available and would be appropriate for your riding, but a custom build for a 225lb person (although nice) is unnecessary to solve your truing problems. 32 spoke double-wall should do the trick, and especially if you go 26" should last thousands of miles.
