Interesting.... I just bought a rack for my latest n+1. A Planet Bike Eco Rack. The guy at the LBS said "you're going to need a new place to mount your flasher, what kind do you have, is it a superflash?". I said I had a Superflash at home. The bracket he put on does not look anything like what is pictured above. Mine is designed to hold a Superflash with its clip already mounted. Then you slide the clip into a slot on the top of the bracket that is fixed to the bicycle. Looks kind of like those old fashioned beer bottle openers.

TBH I had stopped using Planet Bike and other blinkies that have a vertical mount. The Ascent blinky I like, slides into its clip horizontally. This is good because the bumps and jolts that usually dislodge your blinky (I've lost a couple or three) have mainly a vertical component. Well... I've tried and there isn't any knocking the PB out of the new mount although it does wobble. Easily fixed, but the mount pictured above should have zero wobble. The price I paid for mine can't be argued with, however.
