A Fright Night Cramerotti Build..
A good friend of mine picked up this bike last year. We believe it to be and early 80's Cramerotti. The bike had been horribly sprayed by the previous owner (I wish I had a before picture which would clearly show that this was not another 'should I repaint' debate). CJ decided it was a keeper, so a couple weeks ago we stripped it down and sent it for a $150 powder coat.
The paint came out really well for the price considering they did the stripping of the old paint. It's also not as thick as I was expecting to see.
We grabbed a case of beer tonight, and set up a build station in the living room. This way we could still serve all the munchkins their candy.
Everything came together quite nicely. I believe it's all original except for the brake levers, which were upgrade at some point. Campy 980 drive train, modolo brakes, cinelli bar and stem, ofmega headset, crank & hubs....
