Easton Wheels vs. Velocity Wheels?
Hey out there!
I'm a newbie to road cycling but I definitely want to upgrade my wheels soon. I realize this is sometimes a subjective topic but I'm curious what people think of Easton wheels in general, as well as Easton wheels compared to Velocity.
Now comparing the two, I'm obviously excluding Easton's carbon wheels. I'm staying fairly basic, aluminum rims, but I'm still not sure about bladed versus double butted spokes. The Velocity rims I'm considering are A23s (OC in the rear), with basic Velocity road hubs (I want to do 105 hubs but the rims I would get are from a friend and are both 28-hole). I know there are lots of opinions out there, and I want to hear them!
I ride a Specialized Ruby with Apex, anywhere from 50-100 miles a week.
Thanks!
