Ya mean the safety belt, AKA glow belt/magic belt that was
required for everybody outdoors at base camps? Not vests, not a state or DOT requirement and just like their anal helmet requirement. Easy to force/require without any laws on people who have no say in the matter. No requirement for civilian
bicyclists anywhere, unless under military jurisdiction. No bikers are being forced to wear reflective belts in the "normal" world found outside of military enclaves.
Surely you know the difference.
I happen to like the belts I brought back from Iraq and Afghanistan on my daily use bikes as shown on attached pictures. Always working, in daylight or in the beam of headlights.
