I currently like riding my bike a bunch. However, recent injuries have kept me off for some considerable weeks and now I'm cautious to not overdo the miles/hrs on threat of re-injury...
Even so, I'm good for 3 weekdays solo, avg 22 to 24 mi - one of which is a 'climbing' day. One day is oftern intervals and the other day is inbetween for leg recovery. Sometimes, when I'm not doin other stuff I'll ride a 4th wkday - often a mtb ride.
Wkends I ride 45 to 50 on Sat, of which 25 mi is at race pace in a larger group. Sunday currently is for distance and time to get my legs back from the injury - usually 55 to 65 mi. The weekend rides always finish at home, by noon.
At least once a month I do an extended climbing ride. I'm an awful climber so I do it when I can. A couple times a month I try to do an 80+ mi ride, with some decent climbing.
I'm very blessed to live in a cycle friendly place with excellent yr-round weather and a huge variety of rides.
Getting back into snow skiing, 4 yrs ago has reduced my yearly miles, but its a more than worthy trade-off. When I really get back on the bike again in Mid-April, I'm stoked to really get out almost every day. In ski season I ride 3 to 4 days a wk.
The guys and ladies I ride with are more dedicated, do more miles, and it shows.
do what suits you...
EDIT: I always seem to forget my commuting, get in about 30 mi/wk avg - 1400+ mi a yr. which I don't count into my 'riding' miles. The commute is actually very nice, low traffic, nice scenery - not sure why I always forget to count it in. Then there's uncounted other miles for shopping, trips into town, visiting... I stopped keeping close track some years ago cause it was all makin me think "I gotta do more miles!" - silly stuff... the mind is a dangerous place
