A bunch of us tried ski bikes at Brundage a couple seasons ago, it was novel but generally less than awesome. I've seen the things here and there doing less than awesome stuff. They're a pain in the ass to get around with on the mountain, they look ridiculous and taking them on anything more difficult than a mellow blue is suicide because they don't stop or maneuver ANYTHING like skis, snowboard or even a bike. They're generally regarded with the same sneering dismissal as teleboards, monoskis, Sled Dogs...Yet Another wacky snowsliding device someone didn't fully think through before inventing.
