Boy, you said a mouthful, Docbilly. I used decal wetting solution too (Microsol) and you have about 2.1 seconds to get them positioned. The solution softens the decal so it "sucks down" against the substrate and woe to him that tries to manipulate them too much. I came close to screwing one up but saved it, losing only a hair of the black outline on a fork decal. They're extremely delicate.
Not for the faint of heart. I've decal-ed lots of model airplanes, but that was 45 years ago!
