Just got back from Performance. The manager said that Alex wanted them to rebuild the wheel with a new hub. So of course, they wanted Performance to eat the cost. Fine, they were prepared for that. However, the warranty department of Performance has a $275 minimum parts purchase, so they decided just to replace the whole wheelset. Yep, I now have new wheels and I've said good riddance to those horrible "A-Class" wheels. I now have FSA RD-60 wheels. Very nice wheels, when compared to those Alex ones. Not too bad on weight, but definitely not lightweight.
