No-one sells a polished silver stem, at least that I could find when I bought these parts. The Deda products had a light and transparent anodize on them that is removable with oven cleaner, which leaves a beautiful polished finish. Other stems such as Ritchey have a hard to remove anodize with a satin finish underneath that does not polish out so nicely. Also, I like having complete component groups so the bar, stem, post combo worked for me. And, for a Colnago, for me Italian is best! I only had to remove the anodizing on the bar where it would show so the rest of the bar is the original finish.

About the Swift, all of my modern bikes have either a Swift of a B-17. That is so when I climb on a different bike I have a saddle that my butt likes. I have ridden many many many miles on Swift saddles and they are my saddle of choice. I'm gonna stick with them!
