I was commenting in jest, however it's probably not a bad Idea to have a set in your seat pouch, that way they can quickly be placed for the night ride home or what ever.

I may have to go get a set just for fun

I use to commute all 4 seasons, and here in the winter sun rise can be at 9:00 am and sunset can be at 4:00pm. It's dark when you go to work, and its dark when you go home. The biggest thing I learned was it was important to be seen, especially on those fog crystal mornings at -40C,
