Bike computer showed 21F/-6C under clear skies this morning. Nice ride. I took the scenic route. Lots of waterfowl floating near the shore of Lake Champlain. The water is warm so they like it.

I had to chuckle as I was watching people arrive at work from their cars. Hunched over, hands stuffed in pockets, looking cold, and they're wearing winter coats. Here I come in my lightweight nylon jacket, half unzipped, feeling like it's a nice spring day.

Beards... No, if it gets cold enough for that, I wear a balaclava, and it has to get colder than this. Single-digits F or less. (I'm a cold-weather guy.)
