If you are riding long distances in a tuck, yes. If you ride your road bike on the hoods or bar...no freaking way. I am just about as aero on my flat bar cf commuters as I am on the hoods of my road bike (road stem is not slammed). And believe me I know where you are coming from. My commute used to take me 75 minutes a decade ago. Now it takes me 40 minutes.
