Great advice as always. VO braided are more for shifter cables from what I read. Could be why many people find them too stiff for brake cables.

Yes, just a clear tube to put around the rear derailleur housing so it doesn't rub on the paint. I also need to find a very small diameter clear tube for the cable routing under the BB. It's all about the details
