Its exciting to watch a fast descent. But after viewing a few on You Tube, its all about the same.
I'm not into the whole self-righteous "let's call the cops on a motorist because they're using a cell phone" thing, so I refuse to use my cameras around town. I did at first, but quickly tired of capturing boneheaded driving moves. Yes, drivers make mistakes but let's face it, we're all human. People make mistakes whether they're driving a car, riding a bike, or walking.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dismissing the consequences of a motorist's mistake, as we all know that the wrong move could mean death or serious injury to another road user. I just don't like the disturbing trend I'm seeing of pointing out every mistake a person makes and posting it on YouTube. I'm all for posting malicious or aggressive motorist behavior though, as those are the kind of people who have no regard for human life and would mow us down if they could get away with it.

As far as the cell phone thing, I believe that some people can walk and chew gum at the same time. Yes, some people are incapable of multi-tasking and are dangerous behind the wheel if they use their phone, but some people can talk on the phone without zoning out and endangering other road users.

I just think the world would be a better place if there weren't so many nanny laws and people trying to tell other people how to live.

Back to the cameras. I use mine on road and mtb rides out in nature, hoping to capture wildlife. I also like to relive my grueling climbs later, so I record every tough climb I do.
