Okay, so after doing a bunch of digging around, it seems the DNP 11-32T 8-speed freewheel and Park FR-1 tool combination is the least heavy ding to the wallet method for expanding the gearing. I'm going to adjust plans to go with this setup and just stick with the stock wheel for now (anyway...I could use the practice changing tires ).
